Last June 22, Pluxeers visited The Little Sisters of the Elderly Abandoned in San Juan City to spread cheer.
Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services, which recently unveiled Pluxee as a new brand, makes Servathon 2023 an annual tradition in keeping with its CSR commitments to act sustainably for a hunger-free world by 2025. The organization is in full support of Stop Hunger’s initiatives to make a lasting impact.
From dance numbers to a duet performance, Pluxeers went all out to volunteer their time, treasure, and talent. Fun games like Pinoy Henyo and Give Me also lifted the spirits of the elderly, with the morning wrapping up with a heartwarming sharing of stories and life lessons, as well as the giving of gifts and food packets to beneficiaries.
Globally, around 1 in 9 people suffer from hunger. That’s approximately 821 million people who are not getting food to eat at their table every single day. It is our hope that as we relentlessly serve our community through initiatives such as these, a hunger-free world is not far from reach.
